Help?

So I have now realized as I'm making these doilies that in gonna need to starch them. Ive never done doilies before so I'm not sure the best process for this? Any recommendations? much appreciated.

Going to make my own rendition of this dress. So today I start making doilys ( which is very time consuming) until I have enough that I need to cover a dress. I do like the style of dress this bride used and the length so I will also be searching for the Perfect under dress.
